Photographer Alex Conu, a self-proclaimed chocolate lover, does not take shots in the conventional sense; rather, he unveils the cold and distant sensuality hidden within the staged set such as in this series. Taking a break, these models are recomposed in a representation of artificial life. These photos conjure up images of Lavazza or Pirelli style calendars, with less sexual overtones, where each girl of the month serves to remind us that it’s time for a change of wardrobe.

Le photographe Alex Conu, amateur de chocolat (c’est lui qui le dit !) ne fait pas à proprement parler des photos gourmandes, il déflore plutôt une sensualité froide et distante dans des mises en scène appuyées comme dans cette série. Ces mannequins prennent la pause et se posent dans une recomposition de la vie artificielle. Avec ces photos, on imagine un calendrier (Façon Lavazza ou Pirelli en moins sexuel) dont les filles du mois viendraient rappeler qu’il est temps de changer de fringues.
