Well, Danielle Joy, tell us a little more about yourself… and about the city, you live.

I am a twenty something girl living in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. I love to shop (my fave store is target) and am especially happy to find a great bargain, love to read (mysteries, fashion blogs), my favorite color is red (black is a close second) and I love getting dressed up!

Could you tell us more why you like blogging and what do you search inside them?

I recently started a fashion blog (www.fell4fashion.blogspot.com) and I am now hooked on the blogging world! I started my blog to express my personal style and my love for fashion, and as a creative outlet for me. I am an office manager at a school, so I am surrounded by parents and older women, and I don’t have much around me every day that inspires me. Blogging allows me to connect with others who like fashion as much as I do and it allows me to share my style while gaining insight and inspiration from others. Blogging has also made me more comfortable in my own style and has given me the courage to wear what I want, no matter what people around me may say.

Has fashion a big place in your everyday life?

My mind is always on fashion, even though it is not what I do for a career. I am always thinking of ways to update my wardrobe, remix what I already have, putting together looks. I also think fashion is more than what you wear, it’s how you present yourself and the confidence you have.

Can you describe your personal style?

My personal style is a mix of classic, trendy, romantic and versatile. I wear a lot of skirts and dresses, wide leg pants, and high-waisted styles. I work in an office environment, so I’m always looking for pieces I can wear to work but that I can wear on a casual day as well. I also like anything belted or cinched at the waist! I also wear lots of black.

Who is your fashion icon? (fashion designer, artist, journalist, blogger, star, your mother…) ?

Bloggers have been my fashion inspiration lately: What I Wore (www.whatiwore.tumblr.com), Karlas Closet (www.karlascloset.blogspot.com), and all the street style blogs. They inspire me in so many ways, with taking more risk in my wardrobe and trying things I never would have put together.

What is your favorite fashion or beauty ad ?

I am in love with Ruben Toledo’s art, so I would have to say his illustrations for Nordstrom are my favorite.

What is your favorite period - fashionly speaking?

I like the 50’s for the cinched waist. And the early 60’s for its elegance, jackets, and shift dresses.

And now, start of, what we call, in french, a chinese portrait, a Portrait chinois.

If you were a fashion icon? Diane Von Furstenberg

a clothe? An a-line cut dress or skirt.

an accessory? It’s tied between a big cocktail ring and a clutch.

a fashion designer? Again, Diane Von Furstenberg.

a jewel? A ruby ring

a secret to become a stylish girl? Know yourself and what looks good on your body type…..and have confidence in what YOU like. Dress for yourself.
